Red Thread Games CAUGHT Working With A MASSIVE Consulting Company!!

Red Thread Games, the game development studio behind the laughably woke cringe fest Dustborn, have found themselves at the center of numerous controversies on social media, after one of their developers defended the use of allegedly stolen assets in their game. As reported on by That Park Place, "one of the game’s developer who uses the name Thea Bergh appeared to confirm the game used stolen assets from Grant Theft Auto, disparaged men, and threatened to push the gay agenda in video games."

After getting called out by Twitter/X user @HeySlickThatsMe, Bergh would seemingly defend these actions by saying, "This is the funniest shit I’ve ever seen dude why do you care.” This developer has a long history of making unhinged statements on social media, many of which I was able to capture before she went dark and protected her X account.

After further digging into the funding of Dustborn, Mark Kern, aka @Grummz, put together an X thread highlighting all of the government investing that has been pumped into Red Thread Games. Not only has the Norwegian government provided them with hundreds of thousands in US dollars in grant money, but the Norwegian Film Institute alone has invested $1.4M into this pro-antifa, anti-American game.

The story doesn't end there, however. After doing some digging, I was able to uncover that Red Thread Games is represented by a massive multinational investment and consulting firm, known as Digital Development Management, or DDM. Among their many services they offer, DDM finds potential buyers for studios looking for acquisition or funding, as well as offers consultation services to several prominent companies, such as Crunchyroll and Universal.

This on it's own wouldn't seem to be enough evidence to label DDM as a "woke" company... However, listed under "Friends" on their website's "About" section, there are numerous DEI infested organizations and companies that DDM is listed as a sponsor or advisory board member of. Many of these organizations promote the advancement of LGBTQ+ people and minorities over others, as well as "combatting toxic speech online."

One such "Friend" of DDM is the Entertainment Software Association Foundation who, several years ago, offered grants to "31 women, minority and LGBTQ+ college students who, emerging from a pandemic, are eager to create video games and content reflecting their lives."

While DDM doesn't explicitly state their company's stance on ESG or DEI, it is a fairly safe bet that they too are captured by the woke mind virus, and are likely using their influence to promote the tenets of Diversity, Inclusion and Equity.
