Following the news of Dr Disrespect being banned off the platform in 2020 for messaging a minor, Nickmercs has been banned for using a "slur." Nickmercs, the well-known video game streamer, was a vocal supporter of Dr Disrespect, prior to the announcement by the Doc that he had in fact been messaging a minor.

Nickmercs has also been extremely critical of the LGBT Mafia on social media. Back in 2023, Call of Duty removed his custom skin from the game due to him simply telling radical trans activists to leave children out of the agenda.

I don’t think most people have an idea of how bad things were behind the scenes at Twitch. I literally worked in the department that had access to the most data and information. I saw private whispers etc. it was literally my job to investigate…
It would seem that Twitch cares more about catering to the woke mob of weirdos and creeps who like to dress in drag and twerk for children than it does about actually removing the bad actors from their platform.
