Historian Who Claimed Yasuke Was A Samurai EXPOSED As A Communist Agitator?!

Another day has gone by, and we are no closer to resolving the dispute of whether or not Yasuke, the fabled "African Samurai," was in fact a full-fledged Samurai. Thomas Lockley, the author of the book African Samurai, has been exposed as a fraud for attempting to edit Wikipedia and Encyclopedia Britannica entries to support the claims of his fictitious story.

Now, it has been "confirmed" by a Japanese historian named Yu Hirayama that Yasuke was "without a doubt a Samurai." This historian, who has been discovered to be working for a company that is heavily influenced by ESG and DEI, has been receiving mainstream coverage ever since he took to Twitter/X to make his case for the black samurai.

"It seems like there's a lot of talk about Yasuke, a black man who served Oda Nobunaga," he posted to X. "There are very few historical documents about him, but there's no doubt that he was a 'samurai' who served Nobunaga. Regardless of one's social status, if one's master promoted one to the rank of 'samurai,' one could become one in medieval (warring states) society."

I can say this because the historical documents state that ① Nobunaga gave him a 'stipend,' ② he was given a house, and ③ he was given a sword. Being given a 'stipend' and serving Nobunaga closely fulfills the important requirements of a 'contract between master and servant' and 'agreement to receive a stipend.' It is also important that he was allowed to carry a sword, so he was a two-sworded servant and not a servant (servants were not allowed to carry swords). And if he was given a house, there's no room for doubt."

While this "historian" seemed incredibly confident as to his interpretation of the information available, he began to lash out after receiving severe pushback from Japanese Twitter/X users. Another Twitter/X user and friend of Yu Hirayama (@NoMarcy1225), would go on to clarify their actual position on this extremely volatile topic.

"Professor Hirayama and I think there is no problem in viewing them as samurai, but of course there are historians who hold the opposite opinion, and there are reasonable arguments on both sides. In short, at this point we cannot say with certainty that 'Yasuke was definitely a samurai!' or 'Yasuke was not a samurai!'"

What's more concerning is Yu Hirayama's involvement in Pony Canyon, a Japanese music and entertainment company that has an agenda to promote Japanese culture throughout the globe. While this doesn't sound very ominous in of itself, this company is actually owned by Fuji Media Holdings, and is receiving funding from Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Inc (MUFJ).

Three of the largest investors in MUFJ are Blackrock, Vanguard, and Goldman Sachs, all investment firms who have a stranglehold on many corporations and are heavily invested in the ideology of ESG through DEI. Furthermore, Yu Hirayama has been exposed as a member of the Japanese Communist Party, while also not holding a PhD.

Despite Yu Hirayama being a less than credible "historian" to make definitive claims about a relatively unknown historical figure, sites like The Gamer  were quick to run with this as some sort of "gotcha" for the anti-woke gaming community. Unfortunately for them, their "expert" turned out to be no more credible than Thomas Lockley, the disgraced author who has now gone dark from social media to avoid the criticism that he is more than due.
